Front-End Developer

Front-End DeveloperWe’re looking for a front-end developer with 3+ year’s experience to join our development team.

What does the job involve?

From prototyping through to crafting a completed solution, this role plays an important part in shaping the next generation of Inclusive products. Working with our team of experienced developers it will be important that you are a good team player and, alongside our Creative Director, you’ll have the responsibility of creating engaging and quality user experiences. The work will not only include new products and content, but also the optimisation of our new Inclusive eCommerce site (coming soon).

What are we looking for?

We’d like to find someone who is organised and has a can-do attitude, with a creative flair and a strong attention to detail.

The successful applicant will have to clearly demonstrate they have knowledge and experience of:

  • HTML, CSS and Javascript front-end development
  • Front end build tools such as Grunt or Gulp
  • Version control (we use GIT)
  • Responsive layout for both sites and applications
  • Knowledge of front end performance optimisation and browser compatibility
  • The latest accessibility best practice and guidelines

It would be a great advantage to have an awareness of industry trends, such as emerging technologies and practices, and a desire to develop your skillset in addition to:

  • Experience using advanced Javascript to develop on Canvas and/or WebGL
  • App development using web technologies (Ionic, Cordova, etc)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £42,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
